Arc’s Value Village thrift stores offer one-time as well as on-going volunteer opportunities with flexible hours—days, evenings and weekends, 7 days a week! Volunteer shifts are typically 2-3 hours in length and scheduling is flexible. Volunteers at Arc's Value Village help unpack and sort donations such as clothing, accessories, household items, books, toys, jewelry, etc. and help get them ready for the sales floor.
Other volunteer projects include helping to hang and tag clothing, price sticker hard goods and stock the merchandise on the sales floor. Arc’s Value Village thrift stores have 3 locations to choose from, New Hope, Richfield, and Bloomington. Sales revenue from Arc’s Value Village supports The Arc Minnesota and its programs and services supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
Thanks to generous donations from the community, Arc’s Value Village has worked on behalf of The Arc and the people it serves for 30 years and generated more than $17 million for The Arc’s programs and services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
