The electronic trainer position is an integral part of the organization. In this position, the trainer inspires people of all ages to learn the basics of electronics. The overall goal is to teach electronics while having fun.
•Assist customers by scheduling classes.
•Facilitate and instruct end users on electronics principles, printed circuit board assembly and soldering.
•Review and make improvements to the existing curriculum.
•Arrives prior to scheduled training class to prepare the room, including setting up the training environment and other logistics.
•Conducts training classes as needed on any shift and weekends as necessary.
•Leads training in an effective and engaging manner.
•Presents a friendly, approachable, professional demeanor and appearance.
•Communicates effectively with others, respects diverse opinions and styles, acknowledges the assistance and contributions of others.
•Assist in other organization needs as they come up.
•Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching/training experience and/or 3 years working in electronics.
•Knowledge of soldering.
•Able to instruct a diverse group of people.
•High school graduate.
•Highly energetic and personable.
•Prior classroom training experience and expertise.
•Electronics degree or equivalent job experience.
